TV Turnoff Week is April 23 - 29 so we've focused our activities around that week:
Wednesday 4/25: Join us as we'll celebrate TV Turnoff Week on Wednesday 4/25.
We'll host an open mic night at All Asia Cafe in Cambridge (334 Mass Ave). There will be music, poetry and a dash of activism from 6 - 9 p.m. The East Boston Makeout Club band promises us they'll be there! $5 cover.
Most of you know that television viewing promotes obesity, violence, and hampers education, but did you ever think about how it promotes overconsumption and squelches political awareness?
